The Korea Tourism Organization is launching the “2025 Regional Signature Food Campaign” through November, focused on Korean cuisine—consistently ranked as the top interest among Japanese tourists.

The campaign features five regional specialties: Suwon’s royal galbi, Daegu’s makchang (grilled intestines), Chuncheon’s dakgalbi (spicy stir-fried chicken), Jeonju’s makgeolli (Korean rice wine), and Gwangju’s tteokgalbi (grilled short rib patties). These dishes will be offered in single-serving portions and be available for all-day ordering to ensure convenience for travelers.

Participants will also receive a coupon book valid at local attractions and shops, and later this year, content marketing will include collaborations with popular Japanese influencers.
