Expected rainfall includes more than 200mm in southern Gyeonggi and the western coast of Chungnam, and more than 150mm in central and southern Gangwon, inland Chungcheong, and northwestern Jeonbuk. Especially from the night of the 16th to the morning of the 17th, torrential rain of 30 to 50mm per hour is expected. Caution is advised for flooding in low-lying areas and lightning-related accidents.

After the rain, from the 18th to 19th, tropical moisture will continue to flow in, mainly over the southern regions and Jeju Island, resulting in ongoing rain.

While the rain will temporarily lower temperatures, from the 17th, hot and humid southwesterly winds will bring a return of heatwaves after the 20th.
