G-DRAGON has teamed up with AI entertainment-tech company Galaxy Corporation and KAIST to launch his self-produced music and an AI-generated music video into space — marking a historic first for Korea.

The project is conducted in collaboration with NASA’s SETI program, known for its efforts in searching for intelligent extraterrestrial life — and notably once sent Beatles music into space. This marks Korea’s first cultural transmission to space within that same context.
More than just a musical venture, this is seen as a cultural and technological experiment aimed at preserving human creativity in space and potentially initiating contact with other civilizations. Galaxy Corporation and KAIST plan to lead the future “entertainment-tech” industry through this initiative.
Recently, Galaxy Corporation met with Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella to push forward their global AI-entertainment strategy. This space project with G-DRAGON is expected to become a milestone in the enterta-tech field.
