Jeju Province has launched the ā2025 Digital Multilingual Menuā project to improve convenience for international tourists.

Carried out in partnership with the Jeju Tourism Organization, this initiative will provide multilingual menus at 1,000 establishments, including restaurants, cafes, and bakeries. The menus will be available in English, Japanese, and both simplified and traditional Chinese.
Foreign visitors can scan a QR code at each location to view detailed menu information on their smartphones, including prices, allergens, and whether dishes are vegetarian-friendly.
Store owners can easily update their menus and prices through a management page, and the system offers a food photo database and translation glossary. The menu also includes helpful descriptions for tourists unfamiliar with Korean cuisine, offering real support for international visitors.
