BTS’s Jungkook has set a new record for an Asian solo artist on Spotify.

His debut solo single “Seven” ranked 70th on the “Weekly Top Songs Global” chart for the tracking period of July 25–31, marking 107 consecutive weeks on the chart — the first and longest streak ever for an Asian solo singer. His first solo album “GOLDEN” also ranked 54th on the “Weekly Top Albums Global” chart during the same period, achieving another record with 91 consecutive weeks on the chart.
Jungkook re-entered the “Weekly Top Artists Global” chart at No. 175, having appeared on the list for a total of 113 weeks. Even during breaks in his activities, he has maintained strong streaming numbers and chart growth, proving the unwavering support of global fans. “Seven” has also spent 106 weeks on the Billboard “Global 200” and 107 weeks on the “Global Excl. US” chart, an unprecedented feat.
The cumulative streaming numbers are equally remarkable. “Seven” became the first song by an Asian artist to surpass 2.467 billion streams, while “GOLDEN” became the first album by an Asian solo artist to exceed 5.9 billion streams. Jungkook’s total Spotify streams have reached 9.3 billion, with 17.5 million monthly listeners and 18.1 million followers — the fastest growth rate among Asian artists.
