The “PanStar Miracle,” Korea’s first domestically built luxury cruise ferry, was officially named at the Daeseon Shipyard in Yeongdo, Busan, on April 9. It will begin service on April 13.

The vessel weighs 22,000 tons, measures 171 meters in length and 25.4 meters in width, and has 102 cabins accommodating up to 355 passengers. It also includes cargo space for around 250 twenty-foot containers.
The ship adopts an eco-friendly hybrid propulsion system to reduce fuel consumption and emissions. It is equipped with cutting-edge safety systems such as a fin stabilizer for stable sailing and an SRtP (Safety Return to Port) system for emergency docking.

Inside, the ferry features 5-star hotel-level interiors and facilities including balcony cabins, an outdoor swimming pool, jogging track, sauna, café, duty-free shop, and golf range.
The PanStar Miracle will embark on its first voyage from Busan International Passenger Terminal to Osaka, Japan on April 13. It will also operate on routes including the Busan–Osaka line, one-night Busan cruises, and 3-night 4-day international cruises.
