On the 24th, Donghae City in Gangwon announced that it had produced and distributed a "Taste Map of Donghae, Where to Eat" to promote the local economy and food culture. This taste map is designed to help tourists and citizens easily access Donghae’s representative dishes, such as wild vegetable bibimbap and mulhoe (cold raw fish soup), and includes 76 restaurants certified for hygiene and safety under the top, model, and hygiene-grade restaurant system.

The map features intuitive design and systematic layout, making it easy to check restaurant information. It aims to support both citizens and tourists in enjoying local food with confidence. The map is available at major tourist spots such as the Tourist Information Center, Cheongok Golden Bat Cave, and Mangsang Auto Camping Resort. It is also distributed at transportation hubs, including terminals, train stations, and highway rest areas, making it easily accessible for tourists. A total of 3,000 copies have been distributed, and a mobile guide using QR codes has been installed, allowing people to easily access restaurant information via smartphones.

Donghae expects the taste map to increase interest in local food culture, contribute to the promotion of safe food options, and activate the restaurant industry, which will positively impact the local economy.
