[🇬🇧] 12th Korea-Japan Photo Contest to Celebrate 60th Anniversary of Diplomatic Relations

The Public Relations and Cultural Center of the Embassy of Japan in Korea has announced the opening of the "12th Korea-Japan Photo Contest" to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the normalization of diplomatic relations between Korea and Japan.

The contest, first held in 2014, aims to promote cultural and human exchanges between the two countries through photos capturing the charm of both nations and contribute to tourism promotion. This year marks its 12th edition.

Entries should depict various aspects of Korea and Japan, including captivating tourist spots, hidden gems, memorable scenes, beautiful landscapes, local cuisines, and cultural and artistic representations.

Photos taken after the normalization of diplomatic relations in 1965, showcasing meaningful exchanges between the two countries, the friendship between Koreans and Japanese, or nostalgic images of both countries that are now rare or have changed, are also eligible.

The submission period runs until the end of next month, and entries can be submitted via the official Korea-Japan Photo Contest website. Winning entries will be displayed at the international terminal of Gimpo International Airport.
