[🇬🇧] 14th Arab Film Festival to Be Held at Busan Cinema Center

The 14th Arab Film Festival, the only Arab film festival in Korea, will be held from July 18 to 23 at the Busan Cinema Center.

Co-hosted by the Korea-Arab Society and the Busan Cinema Center, this year’s festival will present a selection of 12 films, including 9 feature films and 3 short films, carefully chosen from 22 Arab countries, under the theme "A Step Further into Arab Life."

The opening film is the Lebanese-Egyptian co-production “Alger”, which follows the journey of a single mother trying to recover her stolen scooter.

On the 19th and 20th, there will be special lectures after the screenings, with an entrance fee of ₩3,000.

This festival, aimed at deepening understanding and exchange of Arab culture, is expected to serve as an important platform for cultural diplomacy.
