'The Devil Wears Prada 2' Stars Meryl Streep and Anne Hathaway Visit Seoul

Meryl Streep and Anne Hathaway, the stars of "The Devil Wears Prada 2," which hits theaters on April 29th, visited South Korea to promote the highly anticipated sequel.

During a press conference held at the Four Seasons Hotel Seoul on the morning of the 8th, the duo introduced the film, which returns after 20 years, and shared their thoughts on visiting Korea. This marks Streep's first visit to the country, while Hathaway returns after an eight-year absence since 2018.

Hathaway specifically pointed out the "Starfield Library" at COEX Mall, stating, "It’s a place that has been on my bucket list for a long time." She added, "I’m a bit disappointed that I can't stay longer in Korea, but I plan to experience as much as possible."

Streep shared a personal anecdote, noting that her six grandchildren are obsessed with "K-Pop Demon Hunters," reflecting the global reach of K-culture.

To commemorate their visit, the production team gifted them red high heels inspired by "Kkotsin" (traditional Korean flower shoes).

Hathaway expressed her gratitude, calling the shoes "treasures with immense craftsmanship" that she would cherish to remember the day.
