On May 9, the Korea Tourism Organization appointed Indian actress Hina Khan as an Honorary Ambassador for Korean Tourism.

Hina Khan, often called a national actress in India, gained immense popularity through the drama Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai and boasts over 20 million social media followers.

Recently expressing her love for Korean beauty and cuisine, she is now visiting key cultural spots like Bukchon Hanok Village, Deoksugung Stone Wall Path, and Jumunjin in Gangneung until the 13th.

“I’m deeply moved by the harmony of tradition and modernity in Korean culture,” she said. “I hope more Indians will discover the beauty of Korea.”

The KTO plans to strengthen its promotions in India and develop travel packages inspired by her visit.
