[🇬🇧]K-Musical ‘Swag Age, Shout Joseon!’ to Head to London West End in September

K-Musical musical Swag Age, Shout Joseon! will hold a special performance titled Swag Age in Concert on September 8 at the Gillian Lynne Theatre in London’s West End.

Set in a fictional Joseon where traditional poetry is banned, the story centers on people shouting for freedom through dance and song, encapsulating the passion and pathos of K-musicals.

The concert will feature 14 Korean actors performing key scenes and numbers over approximately 100 minutes, with collaboration from a local London production company to enhance quality.

Though a one-time event, it also serves as a testbed for a planned full-length 170-minute production.

The production team hopes this stage will mark a meaningful step toward the global expansion of K-musicals.
