American hip-hop star Kanye West (stage name YE) has canceled his upcoming concert in Korea following controversy over a new song praising Adolf Hitler.

Coupang Play, the concert organizer, announced on the 19th, “Due to Kanye’s recent controversy, the ‘YE Live in Korea’ concert scheduled for May 31 has been inevitably canceled.” They also stated, “The sale of official MD (merchandise) products will be suspended starting from 1 PM today.”

Kanye sparked outrage on May 8 when he released a new track titled "Heil Hitler" on Victory in Europe Day. The song includes parts of Hitler’s 1935 speech and repeats lyrics such as, “All my friends are Nazis. Heil Hitler.”

This is not the first controversy—Kanye previously expressed admiration for Hitler in a 2022 interview and shared Nazi symbols, drawing widespread condemnation.
