[🇬🇧] Korea's Rainy Season Starts Tonight in Central and Southern Regions

The rainy season will officially begin tonight in the central and southern regions of Korea.

The Korea Meteorological Administration (KMA) announced that the rainy season will start tonight in some inland areas, and by tomorrow, the entire country will enter the monsoon period.

This year, the monsoon in inland regions will begin 3 to 6 days earlier than usual.

Starting tomorrow afternoon, heavy rainfall of up to 50mm per hour is expected in inland areas like the Seoul metropolitan area, making this year’s monsoon start with a significant amount of rain.

The KMA has warned that strong winds and lightning will accompany the heavy rain, urging precautions to avoid any damage.
