The Gangnam District Office in Seoul has announced that it will host the "2024 Seoul Media Art Festival" from December 19 to 25. The event will be held at the outdoor advertising-free zone in Samseong-dong and the plaza in front of Exit 6 of Samsung Station.

The festival will showcase ultra-immersive media art with a Christmas theme, displayed on a total of 71 digital screens, including 17 outdoor media locations and 54 indoor media sites.

The plaza in front of Exit 6 of Samsung Station will be transformed into a "White Tree Forest."

A massive "Wishing Tree," a magical Luminarie Gate, a special show stage featuring LED screens, and 10 sub-media installations will create an experience akin to walking through a snow-covered forest.

In addition, the themed plaza will offer a variety of interactive programs, including a photo booth for commemorative photos and a "Time Capsule Letter" experience, where visitors can write letters with their wishes for the future, to be displayed on an electronic billboard one year later.
