As the weather heats up, luxury hotels are entering fierce competition with their premium mango shaved ice desserts.

＜Jeju Apple Mango Bingsu sold by Four Seasons Hotel＞

Four Seasons Hotel Seoul is serving two types of premium bingsu at its restaurant Maru through September 30, crafted by newly appointed pastry chef Steven Jin.

The “Jeju Apple Mango Bingsu” is loaded with Jeju-grown apple mango and features a “mango sphere” made using molecular gastronomy for visual and flavor appeal (₩149,000).

The “Maru Bingsu” is a modern take on traditional red bean bingsu, made with homemade red bean paste, vanilla and matcha cream, and chocolate decorations (₩89,000).

A “Combo Bingsu” set is also available at a 10% discounted price for those who want to try both.

Meanwhile, the Shilla Hotel Seoul began selling its “Apple Mango Bingsu” at an increased price of ₩110,000 from May 2.
