At the 83rd Golden Globe Awards held on the 11th (local time) in Beverly Hills, California, the Netflix animation "K-Pop: Demon Hunters" achieved a double win.

The film secured trophies for Best Original Song with its track "Golden" and Best Animated Feature Film. This marks the first time an animation centered on K-Pop and Korean culture has won at this prestigious ceremony.

The award-winning song "Golden" previously dominated major global charts, reaching number one on both the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 and the UK Official Singles Chart.

In the Animated Feature category, the film beat strong competitors like "Zootopia 2" and "Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle." Despite not having a traditional theatrical run, its record-breaking 300 million views on Netflix and its proven artistic merit through prior awards led to this historic victory.

Lee Jae, the vocalist and co-composer of "Golden," attended the ceremony along with producer Lee Hee-jun. During the acceptance speech, Lee Jae shared a personal story of struggling for ten years to become a K-Pop idol and encouraged others by stating, "Rejection is an opportunity to move in a new direction. Please never give up."
