[šŗšø]Nongshim to Export Melon Kick to North America, USD 1 Million Scale

Nongshim has announced plans to export its new snack product āMelon Kickā to the North American market (United States and Canada).

Starting with an initial shipment of 40,000 boxes (approximately USD 400,000), the company aims to export a total of 100,000 boxes (around USD 1 million). They are also pushing to expand into major distribution channels like Walmart and Amazon, focusing first on Asian markets.

Since its launch in April, Melon Kick has gained tremendous popularity, ranking No. 1 in the snack category at major convenience stores and supermarkets within just nine days. In three months, cumulative sales have exceeded 7.2 million bags, which is 20% higher than the initial sales of the previously popular āMoktaekang.ā

Building on the global success of Banana Kick, Nongshim plans to expand Melon Kick exports to Japan, China, Vietnam, Chile, and other countries.
As a new addition to the āKick Seriesā after 50 years, Melon Kick combines Korean musk melon and milk to deliver a sweet flavor that has been well received in global markets.
