Hollywood star Scarlett Johansson has visited Korea for the first time in 8 years.
On the 1st, Johansson met with local press along with director Gareth Edwards and the cast to celebrate the release of Jurassic World: New Beginning. Her visit to Korea comes after her previous trip in 2017 for the movie Ghost in the Shell.

Johansson expressed, “I’m so excited to be here in Korea, and I’m really happy to be back,” adding, “The Korean fans have shown such a warm welcome, and I’m filled with anticipation.” She also mentioned, “This morning, I bought a lot of skincare products in Myeongdong, and I had kimchi for breakfast.” She shared her long-time love for the Jurassic Park series and expressed her excitement about being part of this new installment.

She reminisced, saying, “I still vividly remember watching Jurassic Park with my family at the theater when I was younger. Experiencing the awe, surprise, and fear with other audience members was such an incredible time and experience. It’s something you can’t do at home. I hope you have that unique experience with other viewers in the theater.”
Jurassic World: New Beginning is set to be released in Korea on July 2, and the story follows ‘Jora’ and ‘Dr. Henry’ as they uncover hidden truths amidst the threat of dinosaurs.
