[🇬🇧]‘Turtle Chip Seasoned Chicken Flavor’ Released Simultaneously in Korea and the U.S.

Orion announced on the 22nd that it has simultaneously launched the ‘Turtle Chip Seasoned Chicken Flavor’ in both Korea and the United States. This is the first time Orion has introduced a new product simultaneously in the two countries.

The product adds Korean seasoned chicken flavor to the popular American snack Turtle Chip.’ The company explained that it was designed based on the popularity of Korean Wave (Hallyu) and K-food, noting that seasoned chicken has become a favorite dish among foreigners as well.

Currently, Turtle Chip is sold in about 2,000 stores in the U.S., including Costco, Five Below, and Miniso, and is available in over 20 countries worldwide, including Europe, Australia, Canada, and China. Since its launch in 2017, cumulative global sales have reached approximately 500 billion KRW, establishing it as a “global K-snack.”

The new product differentiates flavor profiles for export and domestic markets. The export version emphasizes a salty yet tangy taste tailored to American preferences, while the limited-edition domestic version features a spicy seasoned sauce with added sweetness, embodying the classic Korean sweet-and-spicy flavor loved by Koreans. In Korea, two limited flavors including a ‘fried chicken’ flavor are being released.
